
| When MTV asked us to develop on-air promotional concepts for MTV2, we wanted to take an unconventional approach that would reflect the brand’s offbeat identity. Also, knowing the promos would run frequently, we wanted to imbue them with nuances and details to reward repeat viewing. | Building from the theme of “love/hate,” we wrote a series of scripts featuring everything from lustful wrestlers to profane answering machines to angst ridden teen lovers. The spot featured here presents the conflicting yet perfectly symmetrical passions of two girls. |
